Delia Derbyshire

Delia Derbyshire, also known as one of the pioneers of electronic music, aimed to provide athmospheric sounds and innovative music for radio programmes. She joined the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in 1962, where she manipulated tapes and sampled everyday sounds by using electronic equipment.
